ONYI MOMAH : WEAPONS of VIRTUE

Onyi Momah is athleticism personified, as an exceptionally gifted athlete he is blessed with mental fortitude, raw physical strength and size with natural speed enhanced by quickness and stamina. Mr. Momah has honed these gifts and specialized them specifically for any competition. Recently Onyi Momah participated in the Buffalo Bills (2008) & Cincinnati Bengals (2006) NFL preseason minicamps. Prior to the NFL, Onyi attended the University of Maine as a football full scholarship athlete (2001-2003). He also served as a captain of Hofstra University’s football team (2005). At the University of Maine Onyi was selected to the academic all conference team (2002), the lone Maine black bear selected. Onyi Momah also received the Maine Scholar-Athlete Bronze Medallion Award (2002). He was seven time recipient of the Hammer Award for delivering the hardest hit in a game. He also was the scout team player of the year at the University of Hofstra (2004) during his redshirt year. While red shirting Onyi Momah studied the martial art of Muay Thai (2004) to build upon his balance, flexibility and leg strength. Before his collegiate career, Onyi Momah played two years of football and was a four-year member of the basketball and track teams at John Glenn High School in East Northport, New York. He rushed for 1,450 yards and averaged 9.1 yards per carry as a senior. He was selected the team Defensive Most Valuable Player as a senior finishing with 150 tackles. In basketball he averaged 14 points and 16 rebounds per game as a senior. Onyi Momah competed in the Long Island and New York track championships in the 400m and 4x400m dash. Momah finished as a football, basketball and track team captain receiving all Metro, all County and all Long Island honors respectively. Onyi Momah also trains high school, collegiate, and professional athletes in speed and athletic performance modalities. He instills various sports specific skills regarding technique, movement, translation, and reproduction; all individualized according to the athlete’s ability and talent level. Another significant part of his philosophy deals with teaching accurate methods regarding injury prevention & future development. Onyi is currently training for 400m dash, 4000m Hurdles & Decathlon for 2011 USA Championships and 2012 Olympic games. In addition Onyi Momah delved into acting in numerous commercials and modeling in different events. Onyi Momah graduated from Hofstra University with a bachelors of arts in psychology, and is currently applying for medical school, as his career goal is to be a physician in the near future.
